Health, Dental & Vision Coverage

CareFirst BlueChoice medical coverage starts on your hire date, with three plan options for team members and families. Dental and vision are provided through Guardian, with optional orthodontic and LASIK coverage, plus the Byte at-home orthodontic program.

You must be enrolled in an Accolade medical plan to participate in the HSA.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

When enrolled in an Accolade medical plan, team members receive a funded HSA paid in monthly installments: $1,600 annually for employee-only coverage and $3,200 annually for all other coverage levels.

Funded by Accolade in monthly installments.

Life / AD&D Insurance

Accolade-paid life insurance is effective on date of hire, covering one times annual salary up to $200,000. Additional group-rate life coverage is available for team members, spouses, and dependent children.

Disability Coverage

Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD) are available and effective on date of hire.

Veterans Disability Consultation Support

Through Pillars for Patriots, LLC, team members, veterans, military families, and dependents can access support for VA disability claims (initial, secondary, and appeals), VA healthcare enrollment, GI Bill and VocRehab support, and state-level disabled veteran benefits.

401(k) Plan

Team members are eligible on hire date and may start pre-tax contributions on first pay date. Accolade provides a Safe Harbor match of 100% on the first 4% contributed, with potential additional discretionary match based on annual performance.

The Safe Harbor match, 4% employee deferral, and rollover contributions are immediately vested.

FSA / Dependent Care

Pretax dependent-care FSA is available with a $5,000 annual contribution limit. Eligible expenses include child or adult care, plus nursery and preschool care.

Tuition Assistance + Udemy

Accolade reimburses approved degree-program and job-related courses or seminars. Every team member is also eligible for a Udemy account with access to thousands of professional development courses.

Time, Flexibility & Pay

A leave model designed for real work-life balance.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 4 weeks (160 hours) + 40 front-loaded Healthy Working Family Leave hours each January
  • Additional PTO accrual after each 5-year anniversary (up to 10 years)
  • 11 paid federal holidays annually
  • Up to 3 Code Red days when government operations close for inclement weather. (This is subject to change yearly and likely will be reduced in the future)

Payroll Cycle

Team members are paid once monthly on the 10th of each month. If payday falls on a weekend or federal holiday, payment is made on the preceding business day.
